Our Mission

The Redding-Georgetown Democratic Town Committee is responsible for endorsing Democratic candidates for town offices, committees, commissions and boards who share our vision of government as a way to better the lives of Redding’s citizenry. In addition, the DTC endorses delegates to state and district conventions of the Democratic Party of Connecticut.

The Democratic Town Committee of Redding is guided by the policies and principles of the Democratic Party, and adheres to state and federal election laws.

The Real Redding Democrats Promise to:

Protect the Redding we love, including our open space, quality education, and excellent municipal services.
Our candidates will help us do that.

Move Redding forward — think Georgetown development, a community in which our seniors and young people can afford to live, etc. — with a comprehensive vision, a cooperative spirit, and fiscal planning skills.
